What is ugly about perfection?Perfection is a concept; as such, it's not technically ugly, but it's boring as hell.
How do you get lost in the world?Easy: set out into it.
You can only wear one type of makeup for the rest of your life (lipstick or eyeshadow or blush, etc.). What is it and why?Mascara, because w/o it I look bizarrely sad.
Can God and science harmoniously co-exist?If one believes in God, no; faith in God refuses to acknowledge science, while science at least gives God a shot.
If trees could talk, what would they say and what would they say about humanity?Y'all are really fucking this up.
You're at your favorite band's concert and suddenly the singer pulls you up on stage. Who is the band and what is the song?Irrelevant; I would wiggle down.(Alternatively, k.d. lang, doing her version of "Hallelujah," because, well, obviously.)
What is the best compliment that a writer can get?"You made me feel like you broke into my memory." —Lora Kolodny
Is love meant to last forever? The word "meant" implies a belief in destiny and intentionality on the part of something/someone who means or intends; who would be the meaner, in this case? (I.e, no freaking idea.)
How do you define enlightenment? To utterly misquote F. Scott Fitzgerald, "Being able to hold two conflicting ideas in the mind at the same time," or something like that, though if I recall correctly he is describing insanity.
Who is your childhood hero and do you think that you'd be friends with their adult-version?My friend Jay, who was much larger and taller than I, and would tuck me under his arm like a package, and we would go into school in that fashion. Yes, I imagine we'd still be friends.
