Jeff is still in the dislocated room. The painter in The Field of Rooms and Halls is keeping his foot in the door to keep the room open. Maybe Jeff can get out now.
When do the rules break themselves?
The rules break themselves while we are sleeping. Someone glues them back together before we wake, but not all of the glue holds.
What's one sentence you never want to hear again?
Your flight has been cancelled.
Your favorite delusion?
That cake has vitamins in it, but you have to eat the whole cake to find them.
The worst thing the best person in your life ever did?
Abandon me.
Where do you bury your shame?
I don’t have any shame. I didn’t realize I was supposed to be ashamed of myself when I was younger, and by the time people started telling me that I should be ashamed I couldn’t take them seriously.
Where do you sing your praise?
Oooof. That’s a hard one. I can’t get my head around the word. I don’t know if I have enough authority to praise
What would the narrator of Crush have to say about War of the Foxes?
He would be thunderstruck by the snow, the spies, and the moon. He would probably shrug off the rest.
What did you dream about last night?
Sex and architecture.
