The art featured is part of a collaborative effort between Cara Thayer and Louie Van Patten. Several pieces featured are also Louie Van Patten's solo work.
Cara Thayer was born in Los Angeles, CA and Louie Van Patten was born in West Des Moines, IA. Cara received her BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2007. In the course of their side-by-side collaborative painting, their goal was to paint with the intention of the finished work resembling that of a single painter. They both currently reside in Central Oregon.
