Noel Quiñones is an AfroBoricua writer born and raised in the Bronx. He is a 2016 Emerging Poets Fellow at Poets House, 2015 Watering Hole Writers of Color Retreat Fellow, and 2015 John Russell Hayes Poetry Prize winner. Quiñones has spent almost a decade working as a teaching artist, slam coach, and youth development coordinator with artists of all ages across the globe. His performances have been featured on Button Poetry, Vibe, and Blavity. His work has appeared in or is forthcoming from Pilgrimage Press, Moko Magazine, and The Acentos Review.
