Francesca Omolara Ekwuyasi just wants to be a writer when she grows up. She is from Lagos, Nigeria, and currently lives in Halifax, NS, Canada where she recently earned an MA in International Development Studies. She is deeply passionate about the following things: fried plantains, Suya, Kimchi, Pepper soup (really just all the food), making art, dancing, interrogating the power biases of knowledge production regimes, and family. She writes about food, queer African narratives, family, and religion. Her work can be found on Brittle Paper African Literary Blog.
