In third grade, half the girls in the class decided that they could see a ghost. And they told their friends to believe and everyone pretended to see her and acted liked they believed it and at one point a bunch of girls told everyone that red hair cascaded from the ceiling of the bathroom (the ghost had red hair). It got seriously scary and the teachers had to intervene.
