CHAPTER 3: GUARDIAN ANTS
I have a superstition that ants in the house are good luck- that they are guardian spirits of the home & keep good dreams in their burrows, and so I leave tiny gifts and try to be kind to them (and all harmless backyard bugs as a whole, because I feel they are related).
